Strong Sparkle Specialist shard auction last week but the SS holo the day after is what caught my eye

2/7 PSA 10 Shard $1259 (pop 5/11 graded)

2/8 PSA 10 Holo $132 (pop 4/30 graded)

Last shard 10 sold $820 5/13/22. I won last week's because she's hard to come by and I know a couple are already locked up so went a bit stronger on it. Felt this was about right for her.

But the holo 10 the day after being a far tougher gem was an absolute steal.

Musha USA Shard PSA 10 ended last night for $518.

Already confirmed paid for as its listed in Terapeak.

Great example of why the word comps just does not matter anywhere near as much on the stuff you can't just go find another copy of. Month ago one did $325.  Feels like we've reached the point where regardless of skin, Legendary PSA 10 USA S1 shards are getting that min $500 bid.

Meanwhile whoever keeps trying to shill their BK Italy Shard PSA 10 through COMC has failed yet again 🤣

Looks the top 4 accounts bidding all have 100% activity with COMC (won't rule out one of them only bidding on comc auctions as comc allows you to use built up credit to pay for ebay auctions).

First legit bid activity account is the $5,350 bid. Not sure what the seller's expectation for this is but this feels like one you just leave up at 7k bin until it sells.

Can't wait to see what it gets shilled to next round!

I think it’s worth a little more but good to know there’s not much liquidity for these right now

Solid sales and refreshing to see 9s finally getting their due. I think both seem strong but only because we are used to forced 9 auctions underwhelming. If I was selling obo on both those are prob the prices I would've waited for. Win for the market and win for the buyer imo

@shardknocklyfe It is about time some PSA 9s get there due! Always thought the difference between 10s and 9s was to high since both are very vary in S1 and S2.

This Red Knight didn't disappoint and is a huge Hobby Favorite.

@admin agree.  If shard hit rate was 30% like base and holos I could see it more, but 50% rate just makes 9s look like too good of a value when they go 4x cheaper than a 10

Great example here of why the word "comps" simply doesn't apply to most of this stuff the way it does in other card segments.

Last Rex was listed for $175 a couple weeks ago, looks like someone sent a private offer of $105 and seller accepted.

Just two weeks later, $250 sale. Game changes entirely when there is only one available and buyers can't find another copy available to beat ask price down. Also a good example of the upside from not forcing something to auction

2019 Panini Fortnite Straw Ops Cracked Ice USA PSA 10 $787 at auction. Confirmed via Terapeak. Just wow! I didn't see that coming. I don't remember her having too much game relevance early on with the game but the card looks gorgeous. Same goes for Hay-Man. Thoughts?
